The overall battle was uncertain the two armies resembled two tired swimmers holding one another and choke their art is the line talking about how tired they were

Then
Ecuador 2015

Then i remember taking the first picture of the city on the virgin Mary statute. the statue itself glancing at the city lights. Being inside seemed made me feel so small the inside was damp almost as if it was a museum and the sharp eyed portraits of the virgin Mary staring at me as i was walking to the top floor.The Thought of it shaking and trembling because the floor felt unstable, damp and old. The statue was actually on a ball  ( a globe ), the sight of being on top made me feel proud and happy and when looking down at the busy city of Ecuador. Lots of lights shining cross the streets lights catching my eye. Small people working down the hill cars entering the ” museum ” as its called. the old city itself stood out on the dark night of the summer i went.

going back there the next year seemed weird, the sounds of creaking and things falling off as if the statue was going to collapse the sound of the metal scaffolding bashing against the statue with the strong wind outside it seemed impossible to even take a picture. the floor was slippery looking down at the city Quito,Ecuador once again after a year seemed as if there was no change the long line of cars coming in few lights were up than last year. lights shone across the city like beam lights on a platform. The steep hill greener than ever as if it was painted over. it was all too different. the portraits were gone i wasn’t being stared at… It was all so different it was as if it being re decorated. it was if they were making a new Statue. it was if they were making a New city
